Read or read and listen
On the book details page, “Read” opens the text without preparing speech. “Read and listen” prepares the audio and starts playback. If you open a book just to read, press Play in the reader whenever you want to listen.
Choose a voice
In Settings → Voice and audio choose Supertonic or the system voice. With Supertonic, tapping F1, F2, M1 or another voice plays a sample in the selected language. Tapping a language plays the selected voice in that language. A new sample replaces the previous one.
Download Supertonic
The first download is about 401 MB from files.lingoaudiobook.eu. We recommend Wi-Fi and enough free space. Interrupted downloads can resume. Once installed, Supertonic reads offline. The full license is available before you accept the download.
Add books
Import a file with the Android file picker or share it to LingoAudioBook from another app. In Library, search for a book, view its details and add it to My books. Downloaded books remain available on your device.
Translation and vocabulary
Tap a word or sentence to see its translation and save vocabulary. Translation models are downloaded per language; translation runs on your device.
If there is no sound or playback takes time
Check media volume, your selected voice and whether its model is installed. The first synthesis may take longer while the engine loads. Settings lets you verify the model or resume a download.
Data and privacy
Imported books, progress and vocabulary are stored locally. Library queries and downloads use the Internet; the privacy policy explains these services and Android backup.

For support, include the app version, Android version and steps to reproduce the problem. You do not need to send your books or private data.
