Just—William

Résumé

"Just—William" by Richmal Crompton is a collection of children's short stories published in 1922. The book introduces eleven-year-old William Brown, an eternally scruffy schoolboy who leads his gang of friends called The Outlaws. Through twelve humorous tales, William stumbles from one misadventure to another—running away from home, organizing chaotic animal shows, crashing weddings, and accidentally throwing wild parties. His schemes rarely go as planned, much to the bewilderment of his family and the delight of readers who have followed his exploits for a century. (This is an automatically generated summary.)
