The narrative explores complex themes of desire, morality, and the consequences of one’s choices through the lens of dark humor and fantasy elements. The story revolves around an unhappy marriage and a whimsical encounter with a demon, leading to unexpected and grim outcomes. Frustrated and desperate for freedom, Henry discovers a method to summon a demon named Alféar using an old book filled with spells. When he impulsively asks the demon to help him eliminate his wife, he believes he is free from any moral repercussions, as Alféar assures him that there are "no strings attached." However, the story takes a haunting turn when Henry's actions lead to unintended consequences, revealing that not only are there strings attached, but they are far more binding than he anticipated.
